Personal Training

Facilities: Overall, we're pleased to announce the successful completion of stage 1 in the ambitious renovation journey!

Undoubtedly, stage 1 presented its challenges, particularly with the reconfiguration of space and the rebuilding of walls, resulting in a considerable impact on our facility. However, the positive transformation is undeniable. Huge thank you to the team involved.

Looking ahead, we anticipate stage 2 to bring its own set of disruptions, but fear not; it will be confined to a specific area. Brace yourselves for the removal of the climbing wall and the introduction of a revamped roadside access! We're eager to kick off this next chapter.

Staff Wanted: Elevate Your Independence with Elemental Fitness! Are you a passionate Personal Trainer and Kickboxing Instructor ready to forge your own path in the fitness world? Elemental Fitness wants you!

What we're seeking:

- Certified Personal Trainer with expertise in kickboxing or a similar discipline

- Dynamic, motivational, and dedicated to client success

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Team player with a positive attitude

- Create your own schedule and enjoy the freedom of being your own boss

- Available to train one or two evenings per week, and Saturdays

Your Role:

Cooperate/Business & Schools: The team is currently engaged in a Young Leaders role at Summerfield, collaborating with students from years 5 and 6 to cultivate valuable experience as positive role models. Their primary objective is to advocate for health and fitness among all students during break time through engaging play and games.

The sessions are cantered on equipping students with ideas and support in various areas, including group management and inspiration. With only a few weeks remaining, we are genuinely impressed by the remarkable dedication and focus displayed by these young individuals, who are already emerging as exemplary role models for their younger peers.

Over the past 12 months, Gemma embarked on an incredible fitness journey with Elemental Fitness, swapping her weightlifting passion for kickboxing.

From a dedicated weightlifter to a fierce kickboxer, Gemma's commitment, and dedication shine through. Joining our Elemental Kickboxing Leeds club, she manages personalised coaching sessions, balancing it seamlessly with her demanding role as an emergency paramedic.

In just one year, Gemma achieved three gradings and proudly holds her third belt on our syllabus. Her journey reflects significant improvements in fitness, technical prowess, defensive skills, and shadow sparring.

But Gemma isn't stopping there! Her next challenge involves tackling more gradings and ramping up her training by 75% each month. She's set her sights on mastering kata formations and light continuous contact sparring, among other exciting ambitions. Best of luck, Gemma – we're here to support you every step of the way!

Elemental Fitness Team

We're thrilled to welcome back Elsie, a dedicated Exercise, Health & Nutrition undergraduate from Leeds Trinity & All Saints! After a successful 6-week work experience program last year, Elsie is back to lead a collaborative work-based learning project.

Elsie's mission is to craft a one-week nutrition plan tailored for different goals and weights, catering to both males and females. This plan, accessible via our app, will improve your training in kickboxing and the gym, enhancing physical performance and providing delicious meal inspiration.

Success for Elsie is measured by achieving all project outcomes and receiving valuable feedback from our members and hosts.

Catch Elsie around the facilities every Friday as she completes her 80 hours. Plus, seize the opportunity for personalized training sessions outside her regular hours!
