Renovation Work
From Saturday 21.01.23 Gough & Kelly will be working with Elemental Fitness and starting renovation work on the unit next door as part of a project to move the studio around and make way for additional office facilities at the back of the facility, removal of the climbing wall, creation of road side entrance (subject to planning) and restructuring the current bathroom facilities. Similar to the paint work we completed in 2021 the work will be getting split into 3 phases.
*We hope to keep any disruption to an absolute minimum but apologise for any inconvenience this may acse.
Phase 1
From Saturday 21.01.23 work will begin on the warehouse next door to renovate half the space into new gym space and remove the existing gym space from the back of the current facility. Key details include
- Plaster boarding
- Paint work
- Flooring
- Lighting
- Heating
- Remove existing wall to create open plan
- Movement of the ring and general gym equipment to this new space
*Any disruption will be for 1-2 days.

Phase 2
Early predictions suggest phase 2 will begin with the removal of the climbing wall, and a road side entrance will be created to create a more accessible entrance with external signage. Key details include
- Removal of the climbing Wall
- Door installation
- Window installation
- Paint work (where applicable)
- Extension of existing office
- Instalment of reception area
- Larger refreshments counter
- Shop set up
*Currently we don't have an exact start date but will keep any disruption to an minimum by most of the heavy labour taking place during quiet periods or when we are closed.
Phase 3
There is currently no start date for phase 3, however we hope this will be the final major stage of 2023 with significant changes to the toilet facilities. Key details include
- Small kitchen facility
- Mens toilets
- Ladies toilets
- Shower facilities
- Sauna Room
