Covid closed gym facilities across the world in 2020. All our long-standing clients had to deal with not being able to keep up with their training – many felt their progression slip and even go backwards.
Client and club member of nearly 10 years, Nathan, was one of them. Starting with us at 16 and making his way to black belt within that time, Nathan turned his attention towards building his physique with personal training sessions.
As mentioned, this was put on hold. However, with tutelage from his trainer he recently has passed a milestone with more regimented diet and programming to his exercise routine. Using simple, smaller changes to lifestyle he is now seeing the results (as you can also see with the picture below) from the work he has put in.
Going from 84kg down to 78kg and dropping from 18% bodyfat to his lowest of 12%. Nathans physique started to look more like how he envisaged those years ago back as a teenager. This is why building a ripped physique needs smaller changes so it can be kept for…well, ever! Over the 10 years Nathan has gone from school to work, got his black belt endured a pandemic, bought a house and everything else that comes to mind when growing up.
In other words, he has done extremely well.
He has also got back to form with more kickboxing classes too, feeling the benefit of a dedicated muscular strength & endurance plan along with the high intensity workouts the classes at the Elemental Kickboxing Leeds bring. He has more to go, planning for the future with long term goals to set him up well into his thirties, as he knows the time spent sticking to the plan now pays of when its needed most.
