It’s been a busy and inspiring summer at EKA, filled with milestones, improvements, and exciting opportunities. From the success of our June gradings and a special black belt achievement, to major facility upgrades, new venue hire options, and the conclusion of the White Collar Fighter training program, there’s so much to celebrate. We’ve also refreshed our ladies’ classes to create a sharper, more focused experience. Read on for all the highlights!

All the EKA members proved themselves during the Summer Gradings on June 14th, showcasing all their hard work, dedication, and technical progress. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy and pride as members achieved well-earned milestones. Congratulations to everyone who stepped up to the challenge and demonstrated what the EKA spirit is all about. Next Grading will be September 13th

A huge highlight of the summer was the special Black Belt Grading for Josh on July 19th. This was a proud and memorable occasion for both Josh and the entire EKA family, reflecting years of commitment, determination, and passion for martial arts. Achievements like this inspire us all to keep striving for the next level.

at least 4 hours of none stop technical, fitness, Kata, defensive and sparring training were completed to prove Josh was more than ready to rank up to his second Dan Black Belt. Also a bog thanks to those that joined in throughout to help support him, and also have the opportunity to land a few punches when he was tired.

We’re excited to share that our facilities have continued to evolve, with a brand-new reception area now open and a direct street-access door in place for easier entry. These changes are just the beginning, with more upgrades still to come to ensure the EKA environment is modern, welcoming, and functional for all.

We have a reception desk on order to really elevate the professional look of the entrance and the treatment and beauty rooms have had their feature walls completed with some very eye-catching wall paper.

EKA is now offering venue hire options, making our professional training environment available to a wider community. The gym space is available for fitness or martial arts events, while the beauty and treatment rooms provide the perfect setting for wellness professionals to work with clients. We were proud to host White Collar Fighter as they completed their 8-week training program at EKA this summer. The energy, determination, and camaraderie shown by the participants was outstanding, and we were delighted to support them through their training journey leading up to the big event.

We hope to have them down at the facilities again in the future!

Our ladies’ classes have now been streamlined into a single 5:30 PM session, ensuring a focused and energised environment for every participant. This condensed format is designed to maximise impact, create a supportive community feel, and keep the sessions dynamic and effective.
